APEC Business Travel Card Issuance Event
As part of our ongoing efforts to optimize our global strategic footprint and enhance the efficiency of cross-border business operations, our company has officially launched a dedicated application program for the APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC).
This initiative is a core component of our Group’s “Global Access” Strategy, aimed at supporting key field personnel, overseas business development teams, and cross-border project members. The card provides significant benefits, including expedited immigration clearance across 16 APEC economies and multiple-entry access for up to five years, effectively reducing travel preparation time and lowering communication costs for international operations. It marks a solid step forward in achieving our vision of “visa-free travel and efficient international mobility.”
To ensure smooth execution of this program, a special task force has been established, composed of representatives from our Foreign Affairs Office, Legal Department, and Human Resources Center. This team will provide end-to-end support services including document pre-screening, consular certification guidance, and diplomatic protocol training.
Notably, this application round will prioritize personnel involved in emerging Southeast Asian markets and key business regions in the Pacific Rim, aligning strategically with our capacity cooperation projects in Vietnam, Malaysia, Chile, and other locations. According to internal projections, ABTC holders can expect to reduce annual international travel time costs by up to 40%, while enhancing response efficiency for urgent business trips by over 60%.
On the risk management front, we have implemented a dynamic oversight system, including regular eligibility reviews, enhanced training on diplomatic discipline, and dedicated international travel insurance coverage. In addition, a direct communication channel has been established with the APEC China Business Council, enabling us to adapt our application strategy in real time to new developments in cross-border business policy—ensuring that policy benefits are transformed into tangible competitive advantages.
